Toss Your Blender Aside & Crack Open a Simply Smoothie Instead

How Simply Smoothies Can Simplify Your Morning Smoothie Cravings

Who doesn’t love a fresh smoothie in the morning to start off your day? The common obstacle, however, is the hassle of getting your ingredients together and blended before you rush out the door. You end up with frozen fruit staining the counter, ice melting all over the floor, juice splashing about, banana peels lingering to be cleaned up later, and then, to top it all off, smoothie dribbling out of its glass right onto your fresh clothes…it just becomes far too chaotic for before 9 am. This is where Simply Beverages’ Simply Smoothies are your easy fix to a quick and healthy morning.

Simply Beverages sells numerous drinks, known particularly for their popular, freshly squeezed Simply Orange Juice. Read here for Simply’s “Benefits of Orange Juice”.

Simply Beverages, founded in 2001 and now owned by Coca-Cola, pride themselves on “nature being the most important part of their story.” The brand emphasizes natural and simple ingredients in its products. They source fresh and quality fruits and guarantee that there are no unnecessary ingredients, claiming that nobody is making these juices besides mother-nature herself in providing the fruits. This means no added sugars, preservatives, artificial flavors, or GMOs. The Simply Smoothies, in particular, are freshly crafted with 100% real fruit and simple ingredients to fall in line with simply’s simplicity.

Three Unique Flavors

Simple Smoothies has three different blends of fruits that each create their own distinct flavor. There is Orchard Berry, Strawberry Banana, and Mango Pineapple. All three contain merely 180-190 calories and 36 grams of natural sugars per 11.5 oz.

Additionally, the three flavors are packed with potassium, calcium, and vitamin C. Orchard Berry is a blend of apple juice & purée, strawberry purée, banana purée, pear juice & purée, blueberry purée, and lemon juice. That is all. It is seemingly as simple as promised.

The Strawberry Banana is strawberry purée, banana purée, and a mix of apple, lemon and pear juices. And the Mango Pineapple is mango purée and a mix of pineapple, orange, lemon, and apple juices. All three flavors have clean ingredient lists, but how do they taste?

A Simple, But Not Boring Taste

A Simple, But Not Boring Taste

Reviews describe them to be similar to a Jamba Juice smoothie, but better than a Naked smoothie. The taste of all the fruity flavors comes through and there is no odd lingering aftertaste that certain smoothies tend to have. Simply Smoothies are smooth and creamy in texture, leaving no chunks as your blender may do. Additionally, there are no seeds floating throughout so you don’t have to worry about going to work with anything stuck in between your teeth.

The purées in all three flavors make the smoothies pretty thick in consistency; the strawberry banana and orchard berry, especially, are on the thicker side. It is recommended, however, that should they be too liquidy for your tasting, you put them in the freezer for a few minutes.

This thickens the consistency and makes them even more refreshing. You could then even use them to create your own smoothie bowl. Overall, reviews are raving in terms of the taste of all three flavors. It does appear, however, that the strawberry banana is the most popularly sold.

Sold at Major Grocers

You can find Simply Smoothies at a variety of grocers such as ShopRite, Dillons, Mercato.com, Walmart, Key Food, and Fairway. Their distinct look with the plastic vase-like body, bright green cap, and cursive “Simply” label will stand out to you on the shelves. One critique with Simply Smoothies is their use of a plastic body for their bottles, as it may not be the most environmentally friendly option for your morning smoothie.

Not Even Cheaper To Make It At Home

Simply Smoothies are very well priced depending on where you go. You can drink an 11.5 oz smoothie for as low as $1.98 at Walmart. That is cheaper than any at-home option. The 32 oz bottle is $3.58 at Walmart, $4.99 at Fairway, and $5.49 at Key Food. Additionally, the strawberry banana option, given its abundance and popularity seems to be easiest to find for the cheapest price.

Simply Smoothies seem like a great expansion for Simply Beverages and the perfect substitution for your stressful at-home smoothie. So do toss your blender aside and crack open a Simply Smoothie to start your day off with something clean for your body and clean for your kitchen.
